Lake Fork exists to produce giant largemouth, and its calendar reflects a very narrow trophy window. February and March are why anglers book trips here; the rest of the year rewards anglers who read structure.

Trophy largemouth: February–March. Crappie: October–December. White bass: March on the spring run. Catfish: May–July.
