For bull reds, Pensacola Pass on the last of the outgoing tide and the first of the incoming, especially around the Fort Pickens jetties and the deeper holes near the pass. Kingfish are on the wrecks and the bait schools within a few miles of the beach — troll the Three Barges area and the nearshore reef sites. Spanish are around both piers and in the surf where the bait is. In the bays, the grass flats along Santa Rosa Sound and the east side of Escambia Bay have trout, and the docks along the Gulf Breeze shoreline hold reds.

New moon tides this weekend will move a lot of water through the pass, which is when the bull reds feed hardest. Winds have been out of the east at 10 to 15 with a moderate chop on the Gulf, and afternoon storms have been building inland.
